Seeking help can be an intimidating step to take, and finding the right therapist to trust with that vulnerability even more so. My hope is to create a space that leads my clients to feel comfortable and secure in taking these steps. My approach integrates trauma-informed therapies, laughter, and an abundance of compassion. My experience has led me to excel in working with adult clients who have histories of complex trauma, early attachment wounds, complex relationships to family of origin, and difficulties with self-acceptance. I am fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), which is the primary modality that structures the trauma work I do. I have also been trained in Attachment-Focused EMDR (AF-EMDR) to increase my clients' comfort and sense of security during processing. You are the expert and authority on your life. As your counselor my work is to serve you and facilitate using your expertise to best achieve your goals and access healing. This process will be individualized and will center your collaboration and your voice. Together we can seek a path towards stability, resolution, and ultimately a life of fulfillment.
