Greetings! I'm Maria Giuliana, founder of Beyond The Matter Counseling and Consulting Services LLC. I'm committed to caring for the whole person. I use an existential-humanistic-integrative approach that is trauma-informed, multi-culturally competent, and offer a safe space for all. I provide individual, couples counseling, and clinical supervision services via telehealth only. I'm a 20-year Navy Veteran who understands the unique stresses and the full impact of the military lifestyle on our active, retired, and veteran service members and their families. Together, we'll develop tools to better navigate your course. Therapy isn't a "one-size-fits-all" endeavor. Your job is to create your own individual objectives for being in therapy. As a trusted guide, my job is to help you reach them. Everything you do that takes a sustained effort is driven by two motivations: *Avoid pain & *Benefits gained. The major aim of therapy is to increase your knowledge about yourself and the patterns of interaction between you and others. My goal is to help you make better adjustments and responses without violating your core values or deeply held principles.
