About

Whether working with children, teens, adults, or families, I believe that most problems -and their solutions- are best understood in the context of relationships. I create a space where people can develop curiosity about thoughts, beliefs, and ways of interacting that feel constraining and move toward more preferred ways of being.

I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families presenting with a variety of difficulties including family/relationship conflict, divorce, behavioral challenges, depression, anxiety, and trauma. My work with children relies heavily on guiding parents toward working more effectively as a team.

I view my role as facilitating conversations with one's self, child, parent, or spouse that are difficult to have at home. My style is interactive and collaborative. I use a variety of approaches including systems theory, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, narrative, and structural family therapy.
