Hello, my name is Margurite Reaves; I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I approach the therapeutic process with an individualized approach. My areas of expertise include mood disorders, unhealthy attachment patterns, trauma, and conduct disorders. I have several years of experience working with adults, children/adolescence, and families in areas that include but are not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, relationship issues, adjustment issues, defiant behaviors, stress management, and trauma. Employing mindfulness techniques, I promote a calm, open space where clients feel comfortable working together. I was attracted to a career as a therapist because I have a passion for seeing people enjoying their everyday life. During your first session, we will explore your goals for therapy and work together to identify the challenges you may be facing. In the first sessions, I will answer questions you may have regarding therapy/my professional experience. Lastly, during the first session, we will explore your current coping strategies.
