About

My work is inspired by clients committed to exploring healthy ways to prevent, cope with, and diminish distress. Together, we explore possibilities through developing curiosity, courage, and taking action towards greater self gratification and improved relationships.

I believe that we all have strengths that can be accessed to move through and resolve personal distress and relational conflicts. Utilizing EMDR, Mindfulness practice, Narrative practice, and Cognitive/Behavioral modes, I will work with you to grow toward greater health.

My past work experience includes kindergarten teaching, low-income housing community outreach, post-secondary education support, pediatric hospital social work, mental health crisis services, before shifting to individual psychotherapy in a community mental health clinic setting then my present private practice. I am married and have two young adult children.
