Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
I have experience working with runaway and homeless youth and women, teen parents, LGBTIQ+ individuals, those on the sexuality and gender spectrum, refugees, and asylum seekers. I am a hearing member of the ASL signing community and an advocate for accessibility and language access for all. I do my best work with youth and adults who are open to creative problem-solving and deep reflection of patterns that might hinder or aid in healing. I am trained in Motivational Interviewing and Harm Reduction therapies and have experience with Solution Focused and Narrative therapies. I aim to build relationships with individuals and families that lead to deeper insights and lasting shifts that support individuals and families to be their healthiest. I use a non-judgmental, culturally humble, and liberation-focused therapeutic approach that builds on an individual’s own desire and effort to change and heal. As the child of immigrants and a mother through foster care and adoption, I have lived experience of othering, marginalization, struggle, and triumph. I am a human rights activist and a creative at heart that recognizes the inherent worth of all people and the breathtaking beauty of diversity and difference.
