At times I know life can be daunting and overwhelming with life stressors, the complexity that comes with navigating relationships, or perhaps the feeling that something is holding you back from reaching your full potential; yet part of you wants to feel better and move forward. I have specific experience working with individuals, couples, and families who struggle mental health issues and trauma. In my practice, I am affirming of people of all backgrounds, gender identities, and sexual orientations. Everyone is unique; in my work, I strive to identify the specific factors that foster growth and healing for my clients. Therapy offers a safe space for you to understand and overcome the challenges of the past or the present. I have been working with individuals, couples, families, and groups as an Applied Behavioral Therapist and also as a Marriage and Family Therapist having worked at YMCA, SDUSD and more recently, my own private practice In our work together, we will employ numerous therapy approaches including Family Systems, Gottman, Attachment Theory and Mindfulness to best meet your needs. My aim is always to employ both a holistic and integrative approach. Why? I believe there is no one-size-fits-all formula to address your unique history, personality and concerns.
