I’m so glad you are here! My name is Maggy and I’m a clinical social worker licensed in Georgia and South Carolina. I am currently accepting new teen and adult clients in person or online. In my practice, I mainly work with adopted individuals navigating identity, search and reunion, adoptive/biological family relations, attachment issues and other adoption-specific challenges. I also work with individuals wanting to process traumatic experiences through the use of EMDR, those navigating family of origin issues, life stressors and anxiety. My training and experience allows me to help my clients grow as they work to reconnect with themselves and others. I use an integrative therapeutic approach which allows me to use different techniques based on each clients’ unique needs. I spend time thinking critically about each of my clients' treatment in order to best support them in their progress. I strive to create a therapy environment where all people feel connected, safe and welcome. I emphasize the relational aspect of therapy by encouraging clients to bring their personalities into the session. I enjoy getting to know each client and their unique stories!
