About

I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from West Virginia University and am a licensed, independent clinician in both West Virginia and Maryland. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults and have experience working with depression, anxiety, life transitions, mood disorders, chronic illness and crisis intervention. I believe that all people possess the strengths and abilities to overcome life’s challenges and sometimes we just need a safe space, an open mind and some extra tools to cope with these inevitable parts of life.

I believe in using a collaborative, person center, strengths-based approach to empower and guide you in achieving your goals. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy we can reframe negative thought processes, learn coping skills, decrease symptoms of anxiety, improve stress management and focus on your strengths to achieve your goals.

As your therapist, my goal is to accompany you on this journey, assisting you in rediscovering peace, happiness, and an enhanced quality of life. For your convenience, I currently offer Friday appointments either in-person or through telehealth sessions, ensuring flexibility and accessibility for your needs.
