I’m Maggie Panageas, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience providing therapy to teens and adults. I specialize helping people who are struggling with depression, anxiety, gender identity, and feelings of loneliness. Sometimes life circumstances, such as a difficult childhood, divorced parents, social isolation, or trauma can leave us feeling alone and without hope. It is the human desire for connection - first to ourselves by learning to accept and love ourselves and second by developing positive and healthy relationship with others that draws many of us to therapy. I specialize in Cognitive Behavior Therapy where we will identify problematic patterns of thinking and develop adaptive skills to help you move through the places you feel stuck. My approach teaches coping skills and mindfulness strategies for regulating emotions and developing an inner peace. I will provide you with a safe, nonjudgmental and compassionate space where we will help you find inner peace and a new vision for the life you want. You can do that with the right support and tools. Let’s get started! Contact me today for a free 15 minute phone consultation.
