“People may not have caused all our own problems, but they have to solve them anyway.” -a DBT Assumption... Growing up in challenging family situations- dealing with childhood trauma, having an alcoholic or drug-addicted parent, or departing a previous faith system- can lead to unmanageable problems in adulthood. Do you find yourself with relationship patterns you can’t seem to shake? A negative view of yourself you want to shift? Or reactions to stress that seem larger than fits the situation at hand? Perhaps there is just pain of the past you want to work through to move towards more happiness and thriving. Bringing professional interest and experience in the field of substance abuse and education, I use a variety of approaches to address my clients’ unique issues, including depression and anxiety, but also related to developing positive habits related to growth and creativity. I am eager to collaborate with you on addressing your goals. Call or email the number here if you have any questions or to set up an initial appointment.
