I work with individuals who are seeking assistance in healing recent or past trauma, anxiety/depression, life transitions, interpersonal/domestic violence, and women who are experiencing pregnancy or postpartum. I use evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), parts work, solution focused brief therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I am trained in perinatal (pregnancy/postpartum) mental health and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am continuously learning from the people around me in additional to up to date research/trainings... I also learn a lot from my clients, which has been a special part of my career! I really emphasize and put intention into the relationship between my clients and I. It's important to me to identify my client's strengths while also keeping them accountable in areas we can work on together. Being in therapy (especially with a new therapist) can create a lot of discomfort and it is one of the first steps to change and growth!
