Welcome, looking for someone that is warm, direct and knowledgeable. You found it! I obtained my MSW in 2013, from Rhode Island College. Following my graduation, I worked at a Psychiatric Residential Facility where I learned the benefits of ACT, CBT, TF-CBT and DBT modalities. In 2015, I moved to Mecklenburg County Public Health, where I worked alongside CMPD providing therapeutic support to families that experienced acute and prolonged trauma exposure. During my tenure in Public Health Department, I honed my skills in somatic approach, such as EMDR and Brainspotting, to help the individual improve their mental health. If you are feeling tired of the everyday struggle; If you already tried talk therapy but did not see much improvement; Or if you are hesitant to seek therapy, I encourage you to try EMDR or Brainspotting. By tuning into your body's response when discussing a topic, your body can lead you to the healing process. My goal will be to help you become intune . Life is not easy, but with the help and support of an outside perspective, it can and will get better. I have over a decade of experience helping individuals and families feel better about themselves, work and life. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
