Louise is dedicated to renewing lives and supporting the recovery of those struggling with chronic stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, low self-worth and trauma. Louise strives to enhance an individual's quality of life and relationship with self, understanding that when met with adequate support, we can all find healing and fulfillment in life. Louise utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach, including Insight Oriented Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Attachment-Based Theory, Experiential Therapy, Mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing, Psycho-Education and EMDR Therapy. Louise is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, who specializes in trauma recovery. Louise received a Master’s degree in Counseling from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Denver. Louise is EMDR trained, CCTP Certified, and has been practicing as a therapist since 2010. Louise is able to effectively address the diverse needs of clients, as her integrative therapeutic approach appreciates the uniqueness of each individual experience. She realizes that that selecting a therapist is a very personal personal decision and that an authentic connection, as well as an emotionally safe, supportive environment is needed for healing.
