Welcome! My name is Lori Marhefke. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Wisconsin. My approach to therapy is holistic and person-centered. I typically focus on anxiety, panic, grief, trauma, and shame. I work with a variety of clients. Most of my clients are facing very stressful life transitions related to work, school, or family. I am comfortable treating anxiety, panic, grief, trauma and shame. I want to be certain I am a good fit for you. This is so important! We will spend a session or two getting to know one another to determine how comfortable you feel with me. More than anything, I want you to know you are in a safe space with me. I want you to know you are respected and heard. I like to believe I have a great sense of humor, and I try to incorporate this into everything I do in life. I do not want you to dread therapy. I want you to feel safe and comfortable. I am non-judgmental, open-minded, and I view your time as valuable. I am so honored to be a part of your journey to a more peaceful and rewarding life.
