Life does not have to look the same for everyone and I recognize that there are many different ways in which we can live a healthy, fulfilling life. It can feel isolating at times when we are trying to navigate the various changes and obstacles that come our way. I enjoy working in collaboration with my clients to identify their personal strengths and utilize them to bring about positive changes in their lives. I specialize in working with clients around issues related to anxiety, depression, and trauma in regard to the impact they have on the client’s relationships and daily functioning. My primary focus when working with my clients is on building a safe and trusting relationship. I do so by using empathetic, inclusive and trauma-informed techniques that are tailored to each client's needs. I have significant experience and am passionate about working with members of the LGBTQIA2S+, nonmonogamous and kink/bdsm communities. Taking that first step towards engaging in therapy is incredibly hard and I recognize the strength and effort it takes in order to do so. It's important to me to meet my clients where they are at and move at their pace.
