Do you feel overwhelmed, stressed, or unhappy? My job is to help you find the strength and serenity to thrive. I have years of experience helping people overcome problems in stressful careers or difficult relationships, or facing important choices or unexpected events. I work well with people who feel depressed or anxious, who feel like their lives haven't gone in the right direction, or who have trouble believing in themselves. I see people from diverse backgrounds and multiple careers, like physicians, bankers, drivers, diplomats, designers, social workers, and technology professionals. I always listen empathically, but I'm not the silent type; I think psychotherapy should be a lively, challenging discourse, and I want my patients to feel comfortable speaking up. Therapy works best when you can forge a relationship with someone you trust. I offer psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral treatment. I'm board certified by the American Board of Professional Psychologists and a fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Psychology. I received my bachelor's at Harvard and my doctorate at LIU. I worked for eight years at Montefiore and as an assistant professor of psychiatry at Albert Einstein.
