About

The truth is we all could use some counseling. Whether it is for a specific concern, or a safe space to process ongoing events, I am honored to be part of the process with those I work with. I am committed to supporting clients in removing barriers that keep them from living the fulfilling life they deserve. I work with clients to cultivate a safe space for processing and check in often to ensure we are on the same trajectory. I believe clients and counselors must work together. Clients bring with them their own worldview which has been shaped by their experiences, therefore counseling is directed by the needs of the client.

While I approach counseling through a trauma-informed lens, I am intentional in my foundational use of feminist and attachment theory. In addition, I bring many interventions, such as card decks, sand tray, creative counseling techniques and somatic work into counseling sessions. Counseling is most successful when clients know they are fully witnessed.

I have experience in the areas of grief counseling and working with individuals who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals in marginalized communities, and school/family related concerns. I am an unwavering advocate for social justice, inclusivity, equity, and access to mental health care for all humans.
