I am passionate about working with individuals to strengthen their mental health and achieve the version of themselves that they strive to be. I approach counseling from a person-centered view, believing everyone has the power to make changes toward their own healing and growth as well as the ability to discover this for themselves. I believe it is important for a therapist to be empathetic and genuine with their clients while displaying unconditional positive regard. I incorporate Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy interventions into my approach because I believe having knowledge of these skills can be essential for depression and anxiety. I have experience working with a range of children to older adults for depression, anxiety, life adjustment, and trauma. I strive to be warm, empathetic, and provide a safe and supportive environment to prosper change and growth. I have a drive to increase acceptance of mental health in the Asian community by providing the mental health services and connection of having a counselor that can truly understand. I am here for you, call today to see if I am the right fit for you.
