I am a licensed clinical social worker in Bethesda, MD and have provided psychotherapy to individuals and families since 2009. My approach is warm, direct, and engaging with an emphasis on building trust and using the therapeutic relationship as a medium for change. I strive to create a space to explore patterns in relationships, emotional expression, and practicing new ways of being. My areas of expertise include eating disorders, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, attachment disorders, and family discord. I have a special interest in working with families with a history of disordered eating. I use a combination of therapeutic approaches with an emphasis on emotion focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and family systems theory. Please give me a call if you are interested in learning more about therapy and how it can have a positive impact on your life.
