I have expertise in working with children and adolescents, as well as, adults. I focus my clinical work on supporting clients with addressing their needs around anxiety, depression, trauma, identity development, as well as addiction, and substance use. I have worked for years on supporting students around developing executive functioning skills. I also have extensive experience working with families addressing the interpersonal dynamics within a family system to support the family as a whole. I enjoy working with parents to do therapy and coaching for working with their children when they are presenting with challenging behavior. I am a licensed mental health counselor and educational psychologist. My goal in working with clients is to develop strong relationships and to use a strength-based supportive approach to assist clients to engage in the therapeutic relationship and process. In practice, I rely on the use of evidenced-based approaches that match my clients needs. I have a deep passion for providing therapy to children, adolescents, parents and families and couples. I believe that through a strong therapeutic relationship, clients have the opportunity to engage in clinical work and access authentic support to assist them in building skills to overcome the challenges they face.
