About

Are you feeling overwhelmed, stressed, fearful, anxious, sad or unhappy in your life or relationship? I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in the field of social work for over twenty-five years. I can help you achieve the life you want with a practical, non-threatening approach that sometimes includes humor, because therapy doesn't have to be painful. I specialize in anxiety disorders, but I also work with clients with other concerns. If you are looking for a therapist who uses real-life, evidence-based strategies that can work to improve your life, give me a call.

I specialize in treating OCD, phobias and anxiety disorders using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), I-CBT and ACT (the gold standard treatments). I have attended the International OCD Foundation's BTTI training and am listed on IOCDF.org. I am a former NOCD clinician and 80% of my practice consists of clients with OCD/anxiety disorders.

I am committed to helping my clients gain better understanding of how patterns of thinking impact one's functioning, mood and relationships. I will give you real tools to address faulty thought patterns in a collaborative environment. I understand that it takes courage to ask for help and take this step. You do not have to do it alone.
