Dr. Lisa Karla, EdD, LPC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I specialize in Christian counseling for those struggling with marriage, substance and alcohol abuse, spirituality and general mental health. Many of my clients struggle with marital discord; stress and anxiety; depression and grief. I also see clients for career planning and education advisement. One of my favorite clients is seniors! My approach to psychotherapy is grounded in a Biblical worldview. Much of my work is done through a psychodynamic model in which the client is engaged on a path of learning the whys, hows, wheres and whens related to where they find themselves as they present to therapy. Clients should anticipate a warm welcome and an initial feeling of hope that encourages them to want to engage in a second session!
