About

I am a warm and empathic therapist that uses a straight forward approach to improving mental health functioning. I strive to create a trusting and compassionate space where clients feel safe in sharing and deconstructing their patterns of behaviors that keep them stuck. I recently completed Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing therapy training with EMDRIA and my clients are enjoying powerful results from this therapy to work on deeply-held beliefs about traumatic experiences they have had which continue to cause disruption to their lives. Reach out to learn more about this unique therapy technique to see if you may benefit.

I like to take an integrated approach to therapy in that I pull from different theories to help clients enrich their understanding of their own functioning. Empowering clients with knowledge of why they may be utilizing maladaptive coping strategies and introducing them to new ways of coping can help them to make impactful changes in their lives.

Whether it be issues from childhood, major life decisions and transitions or simply needing help with interpersonal communication, we will work collaboratively to improve daily functioning and the quality of your relationships with yourself and others.
