Before entering the mental health field, I taught for almost a decade in the public school system, working with a diverse population of teens and emerging adults. I value and respect the autonomy of all of my clients, and believe each person already has within themselves the solutions which they seek. My clients would describe me as patient, compassionate, warm, and humorous. My counseling style is humanistic and person-centered, often with a strengths-based and social justice approach. I specialize in working with neurodivergence, trauma, and anxiety, and providing counseling for teens, adolescents, and the LGBTQ+ community. If this sounds like a good fit for you, please don't hesitate to reach out! The counseling process can feel daunting, and we can work together to help you reach your goals.
