About

I work with adults to address issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, chronic pain, illness and grief. I am also trained in Gottman relationship therapy. My patients learn the brain science behind the skills they are given to improve their health and quality of life. My approach is collaborative-- therapy is a journey into health and wholeness on which my patient and I travel together. I strive to provide a safe, relaxing environment in which one can move into self reflection and awareness and learn the skills to improve. i have been in private practice since 1993.

I am trained in various cognitive therapies which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Committment Therapy. I am trained in EMDR, hypnosis, guided imagery, mindfulness, EFT. I use a whole- body approach understanding that what happens in the mind affects the body and vice versa.

It is my belief that we are all pilgrims on the journey of life. None of us are equipped with all the tools we need to negotiate the path. Calling on our strengths we are able to acquire the tools we need to travel through life with grace.
