Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
I offer psychotherapy to people who are in emotional distress, often related to childhood experiences, trauma, current stressors, illness, relationship issues, grief, etc. I use a psychodynamic approach to facilitate understanding of how early experiences, especially with parents or caregivers, have shaped a person's emotions and behaviors. I seek to provide an accepting, safe and nurturing environment in which this exploration can occur. The goal is self-understanding, which can lead to improved decision-making, fulfilling relationships, increased satisfaction with life and reduced symptoms.
