Often, people I work with are seeking more peace, empowerment, and healthier relationships with others and with themselves. They talk about wanting to feel more secure and shift longstanding patterns, in order to live a life that is fulfilling to them. With this, my aim is to help individuals feel more confident, attuned to themselves, and compassionate to parts of themselves, especially those that can be hard to accept. Clients come see me for support around symptoms of anxiety & depression, relationship stressors, life transitions, grief, identity exploration, as well as overcoming various symptoms of trauma. I use a warm approach by incorporating empathetic listening, affirming communication, a non-judgmental stance, and often a sense of lightness and humor. I may also gently challenge you and ask difficult questions to help you explore perspectives that can expand insights and awareness. I take a trauma informed lens, incorporating EMDR, IFS, and mindfulness. I believe that building a trustworthy and safe alliance with clients is the cornerstone of effective therapy. And I think it's worth the time to discover what kind of therapeutic relationship will best suit you! If you are interested in working with me, please contact me and we can determine if we are a good fit for each other.
