I am trained in EMDR therapy and am currently completing hours toward being certified. For those seeking therapy court-order therapy for their children and adolescents, I am a member of the AFCC and abide by the Safe Harbor Agreement. Since 2015, as a licensed clinical mental health counselor, I have specialized in working with individuals who are confronting traumatic experiences following death, betrayal, unexpected life transitions, sexual assault, or abuse. I have extensive experience with at-risk teen girls/young adult females and their families suffering with relationship discord, acting out, anxiety, depression, or self-harm. I provide individuals, couples, and families with an individualized experience that aligns with their unique needs, value system, and goals. I utilize a relational, strengths-based approach to assist people in recognizing, confronting, and alleviating their presenting concern(s). I offer sessions 2x weekly in the afternoon/evenings. It is overwhelming to feel lost, alone, or scared for yourself or someone you care about. I look forward to providing you a safe place in which you feel hope. While we cannot always control what happens in life, I am excited to help you take action in discovering how to tolerate distressing situations and find solutions that bring relief.
