My ideal client is open and honest in her presentation and is eager to work on identified issues. This client is committed to treatment and arrives weekly (or biweekly) for therapy sessions as per treatment agreement. Ideally, my clients would be somewhat self-reflective, although this is not a requirement. Self-reflection tends to promote the development of insight. I am particularly interested in working with individuals who may have affective disorders such as anxiety and depression. These may have been long term issues or may be a response to a recent incident or event. To enhance the treatment of anxiety I have become certified as a clinical hypnotherapist. I have found that clinical hypnosis shortens the treatment time for anxiety.
