My name is Lawrence Stroup. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I focus on helping you find strength, build on hope, and develop skills to become more resilient for the challenges you, or you and your partner, may face. Many persons come to my services to address problems related to stress, mood, and relationship problems. I have worked with people from all ages and stages of life by helping to serve individuals, groups, and families in outpatient, residential, and inpatient settings. I have spent much of the last few years providing care in crisis and acute environments. Many clients have shared appreciation for an authentic, calm, caring, nonjudgmental approach for helping process their unique needs. In your first sessions we will focus on identifying challenges and further sessions will focus on change development. With couples, our first few sessions will be thorough assessment with subsequent sessions focused on addressing current stressors and goals.
