My focus in working with clients is to help foster personal awareness, to draw out inner strengths, and provide tools to cope with life's challenges. All of us have certain thoughts and behaviors that are unhealthy and at times can even be destructive or keep us stuck. My hope is that the therapeutic relationship creates a deeper, richer understanding and acceptance of the underlying issues in one's life. Through my years of experience working at various residential treatment facilities, I have honed my knowledge and clinical skills in the speciality areas of mood disorders, eating disorders, and dual diagnosis (addiction and mental health issues). I currently serve individual men and women, families, and groups in working towards a more balanced and healthy life. As a therapist, I am compassionate, honest, non-judgmental, and empowering.
