Do you feel stuck? Are you struggling to maintain healthy relationships and to manage stress at work or at home? Sometimes we feel like we know what we’re “supposed to do” but we think there are so many barriers in the way. I specialize in helping adults and teens develop insight into their unhealthy thought processes and behaviors. During our sessions together, we will work on modifying your behavior to help you gain a better understanding of how you deal with relationships, stressors of all kinds, and unhelpful habits. This will help you to build confidence in making good choices and to boost resilience. In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These research-based therapeutic techniques are very effective in helping people to improve their overall well-being. Together, we choose the combination of therapies that will help you reach your goals. I strive to create a trusting, light-hearted and compassionate environment for my clients in which they can develop insight into their current and past challenges. I aim to affirm my client’s current strengths and progress. It is important that together we understand how you have come to your present circumstances and how well you are moving forward.
