About

Life is often challenging, and it can be hard to show resilience in times of stress or difficulty. To protect yourself, you may have started to avoid or disconnect from things that once made you feel whole, connected, and productive. You may be at a point where you recognize that this avoidance, while protecting you from difficult feelings, has a cost. Your life has become smaller, less engaging, and avoidance or fear have taken over. You want to make a change but are having a hard time doing so on your own.

I can support your efforts to re-engage with the world and find yourself again. I work well with clients who are struggling with anxiety, posttraumatic stress, or are going through challenging life transitions (e.g., loss of a relationship, change in family structure, career change).

In therapy, we will create a partnership wherein and my role is to provide feedback, listen with care, and teach coping strategies. Your role is to be open and honest and willing to implement the strategies we discuss. Please reach out to me to learn more!
