About

Having fought cancer, I know firsthand how helpful the right therapist and therapeutic practices can be. It's been an honor to be that therapist for my clients. I look forward to becoming your ally, to working with you on your therapy goals and to facing your challenges together. Sessions can involve challenging negative thoughts, setting boundaries, calming anxiety, preventing panic, and working through painful memories that continue to cause you distress. Together, we will outline a course for accomplishing your goals at a pace that's reasonable and manageable.

Trained at Columbia University, I specialize in anxiety and trauma. We'll determine the content for each session together and may involve talk therapy, visualizations, psychoeducation, or role play. To address trauma, we'll implement desensitization exercises to lower intensity of the memories and reprocess memories to alleviate related distress.

My role is to assist you in bringing about the changes you'd like to see, whether it's calming anxiety, developing a stronger self-worth, processing a traumatic experience, or working through difficult life experiences. Our work will leave you feeling empowered, connected to yourself, and equipped for difficult situations.
