I have been working in the field of mental health and addiction since 2006. I have worked in inpatient alcohol and drug units, geriatric services, primary care, outpatient addiction, and outpatient mental health. I have experience treating a multitude of issues and enjoy clients who are motivated for change. I understand that each individual is unique and will require an individualized approach to treatment. Therefore, I will provide a thorough assessment to see if additional services are needed and work to connect my clients to the appropriate providers. I work closely with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other specialist within the field of mental health. My approach to treatment is holistic, and I love to interweave my sessions with talk, art, music, and other experiential modalities. I seek to provide my clients with compassion and empathy no matter what issue they may bring to the table. I am keenly aware of the shame that individuals carry when struggling with mental health issues and want to provide a safe space for them to explore their story. It takes courage to ask for help and begin to take ownership of ones life. I would be honored to assist you on your journey of healing and self discovery.
