Hello, my name is Laura Benchie and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Art Therapist (ATR-BC), and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) based in St Louis, MO. I have over 25 years of experience working with children, teens and adults helping to improve their mental health and providing effective, individualized care to help my clients to make progress and start feeling better. I find my approach is a good fit for children, teens and young adults who may be dealing with social pressures and the challenges of life. Often this can take the form of anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and relationship problems. I work to help my clients navigate and build skills to allow then to feel better and develop a more positive outlook on life. Welcome to a safe and supportive space where you can find the guidance and encouragement you need to overcome the difficulties that you may are experiencing. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking with me about anything, and I pride myself on my ability to listen without judgement.
