As a clinician, I work from a trauma-informed lens using EMDR and other therapies. I work with individuals, partners, couples, and polycules on a variety of issues related to love, sex and relationships. As a clinical sexologist, I find that an integrative model of drawing on all of the various types of therapies, uniquely mixed together to assist each of my clients in meeting them where they are, is how I am most effective in helping clients reach their therapeutic goals. I believe in the ethos of “helping others help themselves”; as a therapist, this is still my greatest strength and the cornerstone that has shaped my practice. My specializations lie in treating those who are exploring their sex lives, whether it be individually or with a partner(s). I used a variety of modalities to help clients reach their clinical goals included, but not limited to, EMDR, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I value fostering a therapeutic relationship where clients explore agency and capacity to change how they engage in the world rather than repeating past patterns or through the lens of trauma. Working through sexual trauma is just part of the process; creating a relationship with sex, sexual identity, and expression of sexuality is vital to mental health.
