Lateacia’s approach to counseling is centered on the therapeutic alliance. She places a strong value on co-creating an environment where individuals feel safe, connected, supported, and encouraged to become the best versions of themselves. Lateacia is totally committed to the individuals that she serves and believes that there is great value and importance in human connections. Lateacia is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia and an approved supervisor through the Virginia Board of Counseling. She is a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, Board Certified Human Service Practitioner, Registered Play Therapist, Certified Sexual Treatment Provider, and a Certified Child & Adolescent Trauma Professional. Lateacia has clinical experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. She believes that everyone brings their own unique story to counseling and to honor each individual’s story she utilizes a strength-based approach with a variety of therapeutic orientations to help individuals meet their goals.
