About

I’m a cognitive-behavioral therapist. I’ve been doing this a long time. I've learned a few things: Sometimes a small change can make a big difference; Therapy can be tough, but should not be like breaking rocks; Everyone is looking for peace of mind, what prevents that is different for everyone; That coping sets the bar for progress too low because it implies the problem will persist; That the bulk of therapy must happen between sessions, not in sessions; That people are more than the sum of their thoughts or feelings; That goals should be slightly out of reach; That my work is psychological rehab rather than psychotherapy.

If you're tired of just talking about your problem, if you're looking for solutions, if you're willing to do the work of change, and are willing to challenge yourself and be challenged, I may be able to help.
