Hi. I’m so glad you’re here. I know it’s been hard, and you’re ready to make a change. I’m here to help. I am Lana Henry, M.S., LAC, a cognitive behavioral therapist in Northwest Arkansas. My cognitive approach provides a framework built on the foundation that our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected. Together, we will explore past experiences, both positive and negative, that may have impacted current thoughts about certain situations, people, and things. I aim to help identify negative thought patterns or beliefs that cause distress and challenge those to provide you a better quality of life. I specialize in working with adults who are struggling with stress, anxiety, and depression. While these are vague descriptions, they can include many issues, such as grief, life transitions, infidelity, trauma, and relational concerns. I am genuine and directive and will work to facilitate effective change to better your quality of life. The idea of going to therapy can feel intimidating and worrisome. That's completely normal!
