About

I believe we are all whole but sometimes life circumstances, the way we grew up, the way we are treated by society/systems based on our identities, etc. can cloud the way in which we see ourselves or which tools we have access to. I specialize in working with clients who have experienced complex trauma due to race, gender, sexual orientation, abuse, violence, historical events and poverty. My hope is to help create more tools, help unpack the trauma, identify YOUR strengths and your understanding of yourself and help you navigate the world in a way that feels true to YOU.

I am interested in exploring what a safe-enough and open space looks like to you, provide that and explore how we can work collaboratively to support you in your journey of healing. My ideal client is someone who is curious about themselves and wants to do the work to explore and try to be the best version of themselves they can be.

Professionally, I have an LGBT-affirmative emphasis and I have also done policy work for QTPoCs. So my dedication to wellness within the LGBT community is vast. Personally, I am a queer black woman and that means I have had to navigate the world differently. I am interested in what does it mean to thrive for all those who are told they can only survive.
