About

I specialize in treating people who have experienced trauma, mood disorders, eating disorders, and psychosis. My expertise includes working with adults, youth, and families. I am passionate about working with adolescents and young adults on identity formation. Most youth I have worked with have identified as part of the LGBTQ+ community, with particular focus on gender identity and affirmation. As a holistic practitioner, I give consideration for intersectional factors of race, ability, culture, and other dimensions of identity as well.

Being a compassionate human being is paramount in my practice. I draw from a variety of techniques, including CBT, ACT, and MBSR. Much of my work draws from evidence-based trauma-informed models such as the ARC model and the Sanctuary model. I view each situation through the theoretical lenses of intersectional feminism and systems theory.

I am a clinical social worker with over 14 years of experience in the field. I currently have openings for appointments. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or would like to make an appointment. UA-222945528-1
