As a Psychotherapist Kris treats dual disorders of mental health disorders and substance use disorders with individuals, couples and families. Kris uses a variety of evidence-based approaches to fit the presenting need and addresses relationship needs in order to expedite and maintain change. Kris will typically include marital partners and family members. In my 21 years of experience I am educated and clinically trained to assess and treat mental health disorders, substance use disorders and marital/family relationship concerns. Kris is trained in family systems treatment as well as other therapeutic techniques: cognitive-behavioral; EMDR; solution-focused and motivational interviewing.
