I am a Board Certified Clinical Child & Adolescent Psychologist specializing in therapy and psychological testing with children and adolescents with a variety of problems. I have specialty training in working with children & adolescents ages 2-18. I have worked successfully with children with developmental delays, behavioral problems, mood disorders, ADHD, adjustment issues (divorce, death, illness, general stress), anxiety/OCD, and autism spectrum conditions. In therapy, I tend toward a cognitive-behavioral approach in a developmental framework. I also utilize mindfulness, play, DBT, and psychodynamic techniques. View 13 Photos I specialize in differential diagnosis, and I believe that a proper understanding of the origins and nature of a child's difficulties are key to effective intervention. I approach my work with assessment and therapy clients with the goal of fully understanding each client and his/her unique circumstances. I work closely with the parents/families of the children in my practice. Children and adolescents are most successful in therapy when their parents/families are committed to being involved and supporting their children in the therapeutic process.
