About

Taking the step to begin therapy (or to begin therapy again) is not an easy one and I applaud you for doing it! I believe that one of the most important reasons therapy is successful is the positive relationship built between therapist and client & I think it matters to find a therapist who meets your needs and provides a space where you feel most comfortable to get to work. My approach in session always leads with curiosity about your experience and the ways you have learned to navigate it, with the goal of providing a warm, creative and open space that is free of judgment. I come to the field of mental health after a 25 year career as a performer in NYC & on Broadway. As a result, I enjoy working with dancers, performers, artists, athletes & people going through life or career transitions but my work extends to areas of anxiety, depression, veteran’s, women's issues, trauma, grief, self-esteem, mood disorders & substance use.

Together we will work collaboratively, set manageable goals and use a strengths based approach to help you build healthy coping skills that move you in the direction of the life you want to be living. I’m excited for the opportunity to work with you and look forward to connecting.
