About
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Brain Injury Specialist. I provide mental health and substance abuse treatment for individuals. I have a special interest in treating military members and Veterans. I am the spouse of a retired military member and grew up in an Air Force Family. This provides me with a unique understanding of the military culture and issues facing the military population. I also enjoy working with the geriatric population to help individuals cope with the changes that come later in life. I have worked in health care for 24 years and in mental health for the past 13 years. My areas of experience include Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, trauma, depression, anxiety, anger, grief/loss, traumatic brain injury, and substance abuse. My goal is to provide a caring, supportive, and nonjudgmental atmosphere. By creating a safe place for you to explore the problems you are facing and to be able to express your emotions, you can begin the healing process.
