I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and Certified Trauma Specialist with 10 years of experience partnering with youth, young adults, retired persons, and individuals of all ages in between. View 5 Photos I specialize in treating trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, bipolar disorder, and many other issues. I completed my Bachelor of Science (BS) in Human Services at Lesley University and my Master of Social Work (MSW) at Simmons College. I provide therapy from a strength-based approach, utilizing techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing. I believe that the most important first steps in therapy are building a trusting relationship and discussing and creating collaborative goals.
