About

I have experience working with individuals, couples, adolescents, and families from a diverse population, addressing a variety of issues, including sexual and childhood trauma, grief and loss, self-harming, conflict resolution, co-dependency, career and life transitions, and readjustment. I have considerable experience working with military personnel and first responders, addressing trauma related issues. I have also developed specialized programs for active duty military personnel dealing with the effects of combat related Post-Traumatic Stress and military sexual trauma, where I facilitated both group and individual counseling.

My integrated relational counseling approach utilizes a variety of evidenced-based therapy techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy, emotion regulation skills, and grounding techniques.

Having lived and worked in a variety of places, both domestic and foreign, I have a deep appreciation and respect for different cultures and backgrounds.
