Kim has a master's degree in counseling and is a licensed substance abuse counselor and has been in practice since 1987. she believes her personal and professional experiences have helped her to be more understanding, more accepting and more honest with people who are seeking change or healing. She works with a variety of issues including addiction, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, relationship struggles and life stress. She works with adolescents and adults. In working with her, you can expect her to be an active listener, direct yet gentle, compassionate and encouraging. She'll encourage you to identify and express feelings but also look at how you are thinking about the problem. she has a good sense of humor and enjoys people wherever they are at in their journey and hopes that she can provide a bit of hope and wisdom. she looks forward to being a support for you if you or your loved one is experiencing pain or brokenness or if you need to discover or explore a new direction. she will be honest with you and help lead you in the direction you want to go and will help you uncover your strength and your voice to move toward the full happy life you want and deserve.
